POSITION: OR Tech STRONG ORTHO, NEURO, AND GENERAL SKILLS ARE REQUIRED. PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT TRAVELERS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN AND ARE PROFICIENT WITH ALL THREE AREAS. SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING ==============================
Shift hours: 3x12s, 7a-7p. Plus call, occasional weekends and holidays
Weekend Requirement: Weekend rotation with staff
On call requirement: Call rotation with staff
RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included in the submission
Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks
Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract.
Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

BLS
NBSTSA, NCCT, or military OR Tech Cert accepted **VA or other state license required**
If traveler holds an out of state license, they are required to obtain a VA state license. A 90 day authorization will be required so the traveler can work while VA state license is being issued. REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS ========================
Strong general, ortho (total joints), and neuro experience required
Big belly/crani/ortho trauma experience highly preferred
Robotic trained-highly preferred UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING ==========================
Patient Population-Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
Level I trauma OR for southwest Virginia with 25 OR suites. 24x7 on site nursing coverage. Services - general, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotic, ENT, opthalmology, pediatrics, sports medicine
Special Equipment: ROSA, Si and Xi daVinci robots, stealth, O-Arm, HIPEC HOSPITAL HIGHLIGHTS ==================== Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital is a 703-bed acute care teaching hospital and the flagship facility of Carilion Clinic.
