Mon-Fri 23:00-07:30, with weekend and holiday rotations REQUIRED Must be willing to work in areas they are needed A Minimum of 2 years central sterile processing experience required. CRSCT/ or CBSPD certification required. Certification as Instrument Specialist (CIS) preferred.
Must have the skillset and ability to provide quality service, and highly productive within the following areas of work: - Assembly of surgical instrument trays and case carts according to pick sheets, accurately and completely. - Proficient with the use of an instrument tracking system. Censitrac experience preferred. - Must be proficient with instrumentation for the following service lines : Orthopedics, Podiatry, General ( to include laparoscopic instrumentation), Neuro, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Robotics, Ophthalmology, Cardiac, - Decontaminate soiled/used supplies and equipment - Proficient with steam and low temperature sterilization. - Perform required quality monitoring of equipment, instruments and supplies. - Run the dispatch phone with supervision, providing prompt, accurate and courteous service. - Pick up used equipment and supplies from nursing units as needed. - Perform the required quality monitoring of equipment, instruments and supplies for cleaning and decontamination. ** VACCINE INFO: - The Flu vaccine is required during flu season.
