- Cardio and Thoracic surgeries - CABG, TAVR, Valve replacements, Thoracic cases (lobectomy, hernia repair), Generator exchanges, Lead extractions, Fem-pop bypass, open vascular cases, AAA, carotids, conversions

• CST: BLS, graduation from accredited school (required), CST (preferred)• Required
- OR Tech: Associate Degree in a Healthcare related field OR CST certification
- Skills required:
- Strong CVOR background is needed across all specialties
- CST: experience with CABG, TAVR, Valve replacements, Thoracic cases are robotic (lobectomy, hernia repair), Generator exchanges, Lead extractions, cardiac organ procurement/harvesting, Fem-pop Bypass.
- Support on the Unit:
- Surgery
- RN/First Assist/Surg Tech
- 2 Tech Model - 2 techs in every case
- Both scrubbed in - both setup and do draping
- 1st is primary tech for the case (hands instruments, etc.)
- 2nd is there as a helping hands to support surgeon and team
- Everyone is floated through these positions routinely

- Scheduling:
- 8 or 10 hr. shifts - TBD during interview
- Weekend rotation: on call only
- Will they be on call? Yes - one overnight per week 7p-7a and every 3rd weekend.
- Ideally, 1-2 days/week (1500-0700); 1 weekend every 3rd Fri 1500-0700 Monday)

- Sleep room will be in Pre-Op/PACU area as it will be closed
