About the role

Under the supervision of the registered nurse, assist in the individualized care of the patient directed toward achieving the patients highest level of physical and mental wellness. Performs designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks essential to nursing care. Assists in unit operational support tasks or duties.

What you’ll do
Assist patients with activitiesAssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), nutrition, ambulation, hygiene, and comfort needs
Take and document vitalTake and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, meal participation, safety rounds, and room checks
Observe patient behaviors, moodObserve patient behaviors, mood changes, and overall condition, reporting concerns promptly to the Registered Nurse
Support admissions, discharges, andSupport admissions, discharges, and transfers, including management of patient belongings
Promote a safe environmentPromote a safe environment through infection prevention practices and adherence to safety policies
