With more than 50 board-certified cardiovascular physicians, more than 45 advanced practice providers and a multidisciplinary team of more than 200 support professionals, Norton Heart & Vascular Institute has the expertise and coordinated care subspecialty programs designed to manage complex cardiovascular conditions across all stages of care include electrophysiology, structural heart disease, advanced cardiac imaging, cardio-obstetrics, advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac rehabilitation.
About the Position: Position includes inpatient (IP) rounding and outpatient (OP) clinicCompetitive salary model including production bonus above the base salary, relocation reimbursement, continuing medical education funds (CME), signing bonus and moreAdditional compensation for quality/key performance indicatorsEpic implemented throughout the organizationThe Heart Rhythm Center (HRC) is located in the St. Matthews area of Louisville, KY right off the local expresswayWill cover inpatient (IP) at Norton Healthcare hospitals located less than 15 minutes apart; scheduled efficiently as to avoid multiple hours of drivingThe Advance Practice Provider provides healthcare to patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, and supportive care.
This includes, but is not limited to, diagnosing, prescribing treatment, managing/evaluating patient care and functioning as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate. QualificationsRequired:Bachelor DegreeOne of: Acute Care APRN, PA or PA-CMust have 2 (two) years minimum APP cardiology experienceAPRN must be acute trained
