Full time 36 hours/week 6:45pm - 7:00am The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) provides direct patient care and supportive services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The PCA assists in delivering safe, effective, patient-centered care while ensuring a clean, orderly environment and demonstrating service excellence behaviors to promote patient and family satisfaction. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and standard precautions, ability to read/write in English, etc. Required Licensure/Certifications: -Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification -Crisis Prevention Institute training within 90 days of hire or transfer and then annually is required for the Psychiatric unit only.
