✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Bachelor's Degree in in Social Work required within two (2) years if incumbent has or plans to pursue a LSW license and has met/will meet the three (3) years of supervised professional experience or Master's Degree in related field.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
✓If incumbent is not licensed and plans to pursue CADC or IC&RC Counselor certification through IAODAPCA
Qualifications
✓Driver's License - Illinois Secretary of State (ILSOS)
✓Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
✓Multicultural sensitivity.
✓Microsoft Office- basic computer skills.
✓Customer/patient focused.
✓Critical thinking skills using independent judgement in making decisions.
✓Demonstrated skill, organization and efficiency in performing required patient activities.
✓Must possess conceptual knowledge of chemical dependency treatment, continuum of care options and the legal system impacting patients
