Licensed Practical NurseEducation: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
Licensed as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the state of practice. Preferred
6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office. Registered Nurse
Associate of Applied Science or Bachelor’s Degree in NursingLicensure: Active RN licensurePreferred
- 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care officeCertifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hireNOTE: one or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)
- Six Assessment & Care Modules
- Other unit-specific certifications as requiredPhysical Requirements/Demands: Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 poundsPreferred
