Call structure: 1:3 rotating call schedule with collaborative, flexible team scheduling and shared holiday rotations. Practice setting: A highly diverse, multi-faceted blend of inpatient rounding, ICU management, operating room (OR) surgical time, and outpatient clinic follow-ups.
Access to: Advanced surgical suites, dedicated CVRICU support teams, a direct referral pipeline, and an integrated Epic EMR network. Employed position within a nonprofit health system Comprehensive Surgical & Clinical Management: Lead advanced patient care across the full clinical continuum - including active surgical first-assisting, inpatient rounding, and outpatient clinic panels - by independently performing comprehensive history and physical assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, and executing direct treatment plans.
Preventative Wellness & Patient Advocacy: Champion long-term patient outcomes by conducting preventative health screenings, risk assessments, and routine immunizations, while providing vital counseling and education to patients and caregivers regarding treatment options and community resources.
