Collaborative team based approach between Neonatologists Always a neonatologist available within 30 minutes. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop, coordinate, and navigate patient care plans.
Assist in or provide direct support during patient deliveries. Conduct specialized consultations and provide guidance to mothers. Provide specialized, comprehensive care for premature infants About the Facility Well established Level III NICU facility Approximately 1,300 births a year.
Average daily census of 5-8 infants; 10% of hospital births The NICU has seasoned nurses with 40 years of experience.
