ResponsibilitiesAbout the Central Fill Pharmacy: This state-of-the-art, highly automated processing center handles high prescription volumes efficiently. It supports:Onsite patient pickupFulfillment of non-urgent prescriptions for patient pickup at our other retail pharmacy sitesDirect-to-home prescription delivery

Supports & assists the Pharmacist in the medication use process by providing safe and efficient medication management & patient care to patients (neonate to geriatric), physicians, employees, and the public. Requires following appropriate guidelines under the supervision of the pharmacist for medication preparation and distribution. Functions in an environment which requires teamwork and flexibility to provide medications to patients.

Responsibilities include assisting the pharmacist with the dispensing of medications, maintaining medications in unit-based cabinets, taking verbal refill approvals from provider’s offices, insurance verification, working with technology, and deliveries of medications.
