Coordinates and evaluates the quality of nursing/patient care, financial stability and service productivity. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the professional development and morale of the service teams and has a close working relationship with the general management team and the medical staff to effectively meet system goals, organizational goals and all pillars relating to the departments he/she oversees.

ResponsibilitiesThis is a general overview of primary responsibilities. The leader may be assigned additional duties as needed. Lead, develop, and retain staff through effective hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and professional development.

Manage staffing and operations to meet patient and staff needs while maintaining productivity, efficiency, and fiscal responsibility. Ensure regulatory and organizational compliance with UF Health Central Florida policies, TJC, HIPAA, the Nurse Practice Act, and applicable regulatory and professional standards. Foster a positive, engaged team culture through communication, rounding, recognition, coaching, accountability, and consistent application of policies.

Manage departmental budgets and productivity, including financial reporting, analysis, and implementation of improvement plans. Promote excellent patient and customer experiences by monitoring service outcomes, rounding, addressing concerns, and implementing service recovery. Collaborate with physicians, staff, patients, and interdisciplinary leaders to support effective communication, coordinated care, and organizational goals.

Drive quality, patient safety, throughput, and operational efficiency through evidence-based practices, process improvement, and effective care coordination. Investigate patient concerns and risk events, implement corrective actions, and proactively minimize organizational risk. Provide leadership coverage and organizational support during leadership vacancies or in the absence of the CCO, as assigned.

Maintain professional expertise and leadership competency through continuing education, leadership development, and participation in professional organizations. Serve as a professional and ethical role model, maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating UF Health Central Florida standards and values. QualificationsEducation: - Bachelor's Degree preferred; Associate's Degree - required Licensure/Certification/Registration:- Must have current Florida Registered Nurse License- ACLS and BLS for Healthcare providers required- NIH required Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:- 3-5 years previous experience in a leadership position- Specialty certifications within 1 year of position, as appropriate- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English - Maintains / Exceeds all Specialty educational requirements
