✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Registered Technologist [ARRT-R] - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
✓Radiologic Technologist [State License] - required
✓Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice in Massachusetts.
Certifications
✓Must possess registration by the ART in Radiography and be registry eligible for ART registration in CAT scanning.
Education
✓The primary purpose of your job position is to perform all patient exams with the highest degree of skill, fully utilizing all radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CAT scan equipment and protocol to consistently obtain images which demonstrate diagnostic levels of radiographic density, contrast, and reso
✓Degree: Other Certificate/Diploma Radiology required.
✓A Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) and completion of a two year AMA approved Radiologic Technology program and one year of clinical training in CAT scanning techniques in a JCAHO approved facility.
Qualifications
✓Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language.
✓Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion.
✓Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with staff, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
✓Must posses leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise professional and non-professional personnel.
✓Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the program goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc. of the Radiology Department.
✓Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of the department.
✓Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
✓Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
✓Must be a minimum of twenty three (23) years of age.

About the role

The primary purpose of your job position is to perform all patient exams with the highest degree of skill, fully utilizing all radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CAT scan equipment and protocol to consistently obtain images which demonstrate diagnostic levels of radiographic density, contrast, and resolution. You will respond to on-demand requests for service in a timely manner.
