CT Technologist - Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus

Job OverviewHere at Fairview, we are now seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team at our St John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN! This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work on the day shift, Monday through Friday with weekends as needed. Schedule is subject to change to support department need.

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience. The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.

The technologist is responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT). Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professionalParticipates in creating a culture of patient safetyDemonstrates knowledge of emergency preparednessVerify patient identification and documentationCommunicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of examAchieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocolApplies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing proceduresEnsures patient data integrityRequired QualificationsCurrent Registration with American Registry Radiologic TechnologyBasic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
