You’ll need
Licensure
✓Radiography licensure is required for positions located in Maryland .
Certifications
✓Graduate of an ARRT-accredited School of Radiologic Technology .
✓ARRT certification in Radiography required.
✓American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ( ARRT ) Certification in Radiography.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification as required by department standards.
✓CPR certification must meet American Heart Association (AHA) standards and include both didactic and hands-on skills demonstration within 30 days of hire.
✓Graduate of an ARRT-approved School of Radiologic Technology , or verification from an ARRT-approved program confirming successful completion and a scheduled graduation date.
✓Candidates hired prior to graduation may begin employment under the indirect supervision of an ARRT-certified Diagnostic Technologist until degree completion is verified.
✓Technologists hired prior to obtaining ARRT certification are not eligible to work in an outpatient setting until registry certification has been obtained.
Qualifications
✓Rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as scheduled
✓Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting clearance with renewal.
✓Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance with renewal.
✓Act 34 Criminal Background Check with renewal.
✓Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
