You will partner with leaders and frontline staff across your assigned areas to navigate employee relations matters, provide thoughtful guidance and promote a fair, consistent and positive employment experience.

This is a role with meaningful responsibility and real influence. You will independently lead complex workplace investigations involving sensitive concerns such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation and policy violations, carefully gathering facts, assessing risk and delivering well-supported findings and recommendations.
You will also advise leaders through conduct and corrective action matters, bringing professionalism, objectivity, sound judgment and a strong understanding of employment practices to each situation. Lead and conduct complex workplace and employment-related investigations from intake through final report. Interview complainants, respondents and witnesses, and analyze evidence objectively. Write clear, defensible findings, and recommendations.
Assess legal and organizational risk and advise leaders on next steps. Advise leaders on employee conduct, corrective action, and documentation. Review and respond to legal inquiries and information requests from outside entities.
Provide training to leaders on topics such as harassment, discrimination, corrective action, and conflict resolution. Monitor practices to help departments comply with employment laws, regulations, and policies. Use Lean problem solving to contribute to process improvement in HR.
Required qualifications Bachelor's degree and three years of employee relations experience, including at least two years independently conducting workplace investigations, or six years of employee relations experience that includes conducting investigations. Demonstrated ability to manage investigations involving sensitive issues with professionalism, objectivity and discretion. Experience providing employee relations support to leaders and team members, both exempt and nonexempt.
Working knowledge of federal and Oregon employment laws. Strong written communication skills, including experience writing investigation reports. Must have strong relationship building skills and ability to influence.
