Graduate Nurse Residency - Cardiac PCU - February 2027 Come and join our Graduate Nurse Residency Program! We invite new graduate RNs to apply for this unique opportunity. The next cohort will begin on February 22, 2027 . Integrated into a Hospital’s education structure, the Texas Health Graduate Nurse Residency Program includes a guided clinical experience with an instructor-led core curriculum, a formal mentoring program, informative debriefing/self-care sessions and supportive 360-degree evaluations. Residents not only participate in the learning experience on their personally selected home units, but they also rotate/cross train through other departments to gain an expanded nursing experience vital to the complex patient care. The Texas Health Nurse Residency Program is a comprehensive, evidence based on-boarding program with a 15-month employment commitment that offers new graduate nurses an exciting opportunity to gain the experience, judgment, skills and confidence to successfully navigate the complexity of hospital life. Work hours: Upon completion of the Residency, anticipated hours will be full-time, (3)-12-hour shifts; rotating weekends, holidays, and on call shifts required Department Highlights: Cardiac PCU is a 25-bed high acuity intermediate unit caring for complex patient populations. While we specialize in the Cardiac patients such as STEMIs, NSTEMIs, TAVRs, Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure, and many others, we also care for a great deal of medical patients. Experience in the unit will build a strong foundation in nursing that focuses on high intensity, critically ill patients. Staff develop critical thinking and time management skills to ensure the safety of our patients in this high paced environment. The Cardiac PCU has been awarded the Silver Beacon award for our focus on outcomes, patient safety, and staff satisfaction. Please provide the following during the application:

Have not previously completed a THR nursing residency preferred
