✓Ability to perform drug utilization reviews and support evidence-based pharmacotherapy.
✓Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
✓Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced clinical environment.
✓Proficiency in pharmacy systems, Electronic Medical Records, and medication dispensing technologies, with the ability to document accurately and comply with regulatory and safety standards.
✓Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to variable schedules and operational demands typical of PRN assignments.

About the role
The PRN Pharmacist provides as-needed clinical and operational pharmacy services in a hospital setting to support safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use. This role is responsible for interpreting, verifying, and processing medication orders; performing drug utilization reviews; and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize pharmacotherapy.
