✓The Infection Control Manager is accountable at their assigned site for implementing an Infection Prevention program that meets the regulatory standards of accrediting and licensure agencies
Certifications
✓Certified in Infection Control (CIC) by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc
Education
✓4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Qualifications
✓Over 60 years later, “community” is still the heart of our organization
✓CBIC) within 3 years from hire (required)
✓Minimum of 2 years hospital nursing, hospital laboratory or public health infection control/epidemiology or related experience
✓Ability to work collaboratively with Employee Occupational Health to develop and manage an effective employee health program that minimizes risk of infectious diseases to employees and patients
✓Spreads best practice at the assigned site to accelerate performance and reduce the financial risks associated with HAI and value based purchasing
At least 1 year dedicated Infection Prevention or 5+ years of RN, public health/epidemiology, or lab tech or related experience preferred
