You’ll need
Licensure
✓Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or equivalent in the state of Illinois, required.
Certifications
✓BLS Required within 30 days of hire.
Certification in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) is a plus preferred
Education
✓Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social Work, or related field from an accredited institution, required.
Qualifications
✓Completion of advanced MOAB training within 90 days of hire.
✓Demonstrates the knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the patients served on assigned unit.
✓Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient population served.
✓Able to assess and interpret data about the patient’s status to identify each patient’s needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the neonate, pediatric, adolescent and/or geriatric patient group (depending on unit).
A minimum, one (1) year experience and direct contact with patients and individuals with behavioral health and special needs, preferred.

Develop, implement, and monitorDevelop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for clients, ensuring goals are aligned with clinical best practices and adjusted as necessary based on progress
Offer crisis intervention andOffer crisis intervention and stabilization for clients experiencing acute psychological distress, including safety planning and risk assessments
Work closely with psychiatrists/APRNsWork closely with psychiatrists/APRNs, primary care providers, mental health professionals, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to client well-being
