Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm OverviewThe Lost & Found Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating lost, damaged, and found items across multiple sites within the organization. This role serves as a central resource for receiving, documenting, tracking, and resolving lost and damaged item reports while maintaining accurate records and timely communication with patients, families, clinical staff, and other departments.

What You'll Do The Lost & Found Coordinator will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure items are properly documented, tracked, and returned whenever possible. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate professionally and compassionately, particularly when working with patients and family members regarding concerns involving lost or damaged belongings.

This is an onsite position and requires the individual to work in the building each scheduled workday. The coordinator will also provide education and training to clinical staff regarding appropriate processes for documenting and handling lost, damaged, and found items. What We're Looking ForWhat We're Looking ForEducation: High School or GED, required.

Associates degree preferred.

Minimum of two years successful experience in interacting with the public, required. One year experience in a healthcare environment, preferred. Additional skills required: Position requires collaboration across Novant system and in the community as well as significant interaction at very senior levels.

Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work with changing priorities. Requires excellent organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Must be able to work with computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite and Excel. Must be able to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority. Requires the ability to maintain confidentiality.
