You’ll need
Certifications
Vocational or technical education, trade certification, or additional experience in another building-maintenance discipline. preferred
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of three years of experience in carpentry, construction, commercial or institutional maintenance, building trades, or related field.
✓Demonstrated proficiency with common carpentry and building-maintenance tools, materials, repair methods, and safe work practices.
✓Ability to troubleshoot building conditions, plan and complete repairs, and work independently within demonstrated competencies.
✓Strong communication, teamwork, reliability, and willingness to develop skills outside of a primary trade.
✓Valid Vermont Driver's License with a safe driving record.
Experience with commercial doors and hardware, ceilings, walls and finishes, casework, or other institutional building components. preferred
Experience working in healthcare, higher education, commercial facilities, or another complex occupied environment. preferred
