Certifications
✓Depending on departmental assignment and area of specialization, the following certifications or licenses may be preferred or required:
✓Fiber optic splicing certification.
✓Category 3 and Category 5 cabling certification.
✓Type I, II, or III CFC certification.
✓Class II licensure through the National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers (NIULPE).

✓Five years of maintenance, facilities, or skilled trade experience.
