Job OverviewHere at Fairview, we are now seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team at our Eagan Clinic! This is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work on the day shift, Monday through Friday. ResponsibilitiesPrioritize work to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Determines and revises priorities for diagnostic testingUses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needsCommunicates effectively with all members of the health care team. Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures. Adheres to radiologic diagnostic testing proceduresDocuments compliance with regulatory agency requirementFollows infection control guidelinesAdheres to safety protocolsEnsures imaging procedures meet all standards and protocolsServes as a resource for other healthcare team membersResponds appropriately to emergent situations.
Evaluates imagine results for diagnostic qualityAssesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substancesActs as a resource for problem-solving resolutionDemonstrating ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural difference of population served.
