You will create and sustain a professional practice environment that aligns with organizational mission, values, and service standards while driving:Exceptional patient outcomesCoworker engagement and retentionQuality and safety initiativesOperational excellenceFinancial stewardshipPhysician and interdisciplinary collaborationYou will serve as a key leader within Women's Services, working across departments to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategic DirectionDevelop and execute departmental goals aligned with organizational strategyParticipate in nursing strategic planning initiativesFoster a culture of shared governance, accountability, and engagementLead departmental participation in councils, committees, and process improvement activitiesClinical OperationsMaintain 24/7 accountability for patient care and departmental operationsDevelop staffing plans that effectively balance patient needs and resourcesEnsure safe, efficient patient flow and placementCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to remove barriers to carePromote compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsQuality & Patient ExperienceDrive performance improvement initiatives that enhance clinical outcomesChampion patient safety and evidence-based practiceUtilize data and quality metrics to improve care deliveryEnsure an exceptional experience for patients and familiesLead the implementation of organizational quality and safety goalsTeam Development & Human ResourcesRecruit, hire, and retain top nursing talentFoster an engaged and supportive work environmentOversee competency validation and professional developmentProvide coaching, mentorship, and performance managementPromote continuing education and career growth opportunitiesQualificationsRequiredBachelor's Degree in Nursing requiredCurrent RN license (or eligible RN licensure in state of practice)Nursing certification requiredMinimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experienceDemonstrated success leading teams, managing operations, and improving outcomesStrong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skillsAbility to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-makingPreferredMaster's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related fieldMaternal
