With comprehensive on-site training and ongoing learning opportunities, you'll be supported in growing your skills, expanding your knowledge, and advancing your career in a specialized field. *Team member may be required to float between locations; Mileage reimbursement provided* ResponsibilitiesThe Medical Assistant provides patient care in a physician’s office setting under the direct responsibility of a licensed physician and to assist the physician with documentation for patient’s medical chart.
Clinical skills performed are within the scope of a Medical Assistant as defined by Florida Statutes 458.3485 and CFH Clinical Policy and Procedure. The MA may also perform clerical, insurance, and medical record functions. May be required to float to other practices, as needed, for staffing.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma and one of the following:Medical Assistant certification, ORTwo (2) years of direct patient care experience, ORAssociate’s degree (preferred in a healthcare-related field), ORCandidates who are not currently certified but demonstrate strong patient care experience and interest in the role may be considered. Selected candidates must be willing to obtain Medical Assistant certification within one (1) year of employment, and training/support may be provided.

Licensure/Certification/RegistrationCurrent certification or registration as a Medical Assistant preferred.
Basic Life Support (CPR) required or must be obtained within the first month of employment and maintained throughout employment. Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience RequiredCandidate should display initiative, demonstrate the ability to multitask, and be able to assume additional responsibilities as needed. Proven ability to problem solve and work collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
