Medical Technologist (MT)

Holyoke Medical Center is a proud 219-bed community hospital that has served the healthcare needs of the pioneer valley for over 125 years. We continue to grow and address the needs of our community through quality and patient-centered care. Our laboratory team is looking for an ASCP registered, or registry eligible, Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician who believes in our Lab's Mission Statement of working collaboratively to ensure quality results for every patient every time.

Duties include specimen testing as well as specimen processing and clerical duties.

For MT/MLS — Bachelors degree with successful completion of science mandated for eligibility for MT/MLS ASCP licensing exam. For MLT - Associates degree from an accredited program as a Medical Laboratory Technician OR a Bachelors degree in an appropriate science with eligibility for MLT ASCP licensing exam. Applicants must have: A passion for caring about a community through quality work in a stand alone hospital lab.

A drive for learning new practices to be able to adapt to our rapidly growing test menu. A willingness to offer new ideas to the team to help with our culture of continuous improvement. The ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.

evening shift · 300pm to 1130pm, rotating weekends and holidays
