The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by a physician and in accordance with established protocols. This role is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care while supporting accurate diagnostics and maintaining equipment performance. Key

  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Ensure adherence to physician orders and imaging protocols.Patient Monitoring & Care
  • Monitor patient condition, safety, and comfort during procedures.
  • Identify and report any abnormalities or changes in patient status.
  • Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and families to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.Equipment Operation & Maintenance
  • Adjust imaging equipment and controls to meet exam specifications.
  • Perform routine equipment checks, testing, and minor troubleshooting.
  • Report major equipment malfunctions for repair or replacement.Preparation & Workflow
  • Review patient information and physician orders prior to procedures.
  • Prepare appropriate equipment and ensure efficient workflow prioritization.Data & Documentation
  • Accurately record diagnostic data and maintain patient imaging records in applicable systems.Diagnostic Collaboration

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program (required) OR • Graduate of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program (required)

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical radiology experience (preferred)Licensure & Certifications (Required)Candidates must meet one of the following certification pathways:
  • Registered Technologist in Radiography and Registered Technologist in MRI OR
  • Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology and Registered Technologist in MRI OR
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Registered Technologist in MRI
