MRI Technologist – Masonic Children’s/West Bank Hospital - Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus | Additional Pay Opportunities

Job OverviewHere at The University of Minnesota Medical Center – West Bank Campus, we are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team! This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two weeks) position working Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with an occasional call rotation. Our MRI team supports adult and pediatric patients across a broad range of specialties and works closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, anesthesia teams, and other clinical partners throughout the hospital.

This is a great opportunity for a technologist looking to grow professionally, expand beyond the scanner, and take on additional responsibility while remaining hands-on clinically. Designated lead duties may be assigned based on department needs, with additional compensation provided when those duties are performed. This benefit-eligible position is also eligible for a sign-on bonus, prorated based on experience.

ResponsibilitiesMaintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomesPerforms individualized, compassionate patient careCommunicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of examAchieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocolApplies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing proceduresThis position may include lead responsibilities.
