We are especially interested in candidates with prior LDRP and Women's experience as a Medical Assistant, CNA, PCA, as well as new graduate nurses who completed a senior practicum or capstone experience in a Labor & Delivery or Postpartum unit. You will have the opportunity to experience different shifts, patient populations, and unit cultures.
Will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and competent patient care. Will specifically, assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct nursing care to assigned patients. Will also assume responsibility for the supervision of staff to which nursing care is appropriately delegated.

Our externships are an amazing opportunity to learn more about Metrowest Medical Center and the culture of the specific units you are interested in following your graduation. Certifications Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR.
