Nights The Registered Professional Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care by assessing patient needs, identifying actual and potential health concerns, implementing appropriate nursing interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes. ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesAssesses patients and identifies actual and potential health concerns. Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing interventions and plans of care.

Involves patients, families, and significant others in assessment, planning, care, and evaluation whenever possible. Supervises and directs care provided by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel. Assigns and delegates patient care to qualified members of the healthcare team.

Coordinates patient care with other healthcare professionals and disciplines. Participates in unit-based activities that promote a positive and professional work environment. Provides compassionate, accountable nursing care focused on patient advocacy, collaboration, and optimal patient outcomes.
