Associate's Degree.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
New hires effective June 14, 2017, must have a BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing within three (3) years of hire or transfer into the position.
Current employees who were hired or transferred into the position prior to August 1, 2013 will be grandfathered.
Effective 07/01/2018, all current employees are required to have Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses Fetal Heart Monitoring (AWHONN FHM) Intermediate or Advanced by 07/01/2019.
New hires and transfers are required to have AWHONN FHM Intermediate or Advanced within one (1) year of hire or transfer if no previous training.

About the role

OverviewUnder the direct supervision of the Supervisor, directs, coordinates, and controls the nursing activities of his or her assigned staff. Assists the Supervisor in evaluation of assigned staff and in completion of assigned projects. The Registered Nurse provides care for a group of patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
