Preferred: Home Health experience, but not required

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide one-on-one home health visits to adult and geriatric patients throughout Monmouth, Middlesex, Somerset, and Union Counties.   • Time and Per Diem opportunities Competitive per-visit compensation Weekly pay with direct deposit Mileage reimbursement 401(k) with company match One-on-one patient care in the home Ongoing education, training, and scholarship opportunities Structured career advancement pathways Recognition programs and employee referral bonuses Comprehensive infection prevention protocols and PPE support Collaborative, supportive clinical team committed to your success Responsibilities As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will: Provide occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes Complete comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities, including: Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) Strength, endurance, coordination, balance, and mobility Cognitive, psychological, sensory, and motor function Develop individualized treatment plans designed to maximize independence and safety Assess home environments and recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications Implement therapeutic interventions that improve function and quality of life Collaborate with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic techniques, home safety, and strategies to promote independence Reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation using an EMR system Qualifications Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of New Jersey Minimum of one year of recent Occupational Therapy experience Home Health experience preferred, but not required Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Monmouth, Middlesex, Somerset, and Union Counties Additional Information Base Pay, depending upon qualifications, status, and subject to negotiation: Full
