Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an hourly position. OSF offers an environment for clinicians that is supportive in professional development and offers paid continuing education units, tuition reimbursement for further education, and 401k with $1 per $1 match on first 5% of salary!

OverviewPOSITION

The Occupational Therapist assists patients in the restoration of Occupational function through evaluation and treatment. QualificationsREQUIRED

Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy. Licensure/Certifications: Respective state license and NBCOT registration. American Heart BLS Valid Driver’s License and InsuranceOther skills/knowledge:Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population servedStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with patients and families.

Additionally, communicates effectively with other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition informationAnalytical ability to evaluate patients' Occupational and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problemsExcellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner
