The Office Administrator is responsible for area daily operations, ensuring staffing needs are met and patient flow is efficient and effective. Manages business operations, supervises work of other clerical or non provider staff. The Office Administrator is also responsible for a variety of administrative duties for the area and also keeps all staff, both clerical and clinical, informed of hospital communications and policy and procedure changes.
The Office Administrator provides office support and coordination of business and clinical activities for the staff of assigned area to include clerical, administrative and project coordination specific to the department. May acts as delegate for all administrative functions/duties in the absence of Manager if applicable. Scheduling appointments, travel arrangements and event planning Provides administrative support for department leadership, calendar management, preparing reports, handling correspondences, and answering telephone calls Assists the program director with credentialing of Drexel Residents and ensuring compliance #STC Qualifications
Shifts worked will be Mon - Fri: 8a - 4:30p, 9a - 5:30p or 10a - 6:30p with advance notice given for schedule. Flexibility will be needed for this schedule depending on the needs of the Practice and the schedule will be provided in advance. OR four "10" hour shifts 8a - 6:30p with one day off during the work week of Mon - Fri.
