As inpatient pharmacy technicians, candidates will be responsible for all activities that a pharmacy technician is expected to perform and other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Director of Pharmacy.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Pharmacy Technician license within the State of Illinois. Registered pharmacy technician in good standing under the laws of the State of Illinois.
Responsibilities Include : Assistance with morning cart-fill process. Utilization of Accu-Dose system (Omnicell). Pull all refill report sheets off of printer.
Answering phone calls in main pharmacy. Open batch cabinet fills and process medications. Prep anesthesia trays for OR, GI (par level).
Deliver IVPB batch to floors along with any medications. Unit inspection to your assigned station.
Paid Sick Time - effective 90 days after employment. Paid Vacation Time - effective 90 days after employment. Health, vision & dental benefits - eligible at 30 days, following the 1st of the following month.
