Operations Manager Inpatient Services

The Operations Manager (OM) works collaboratively with the Medical Surgical (MS) and CCC/Telemetry and ICU management teams to plan, direct, and coordinate daily operations of the units. The OM will work to improve the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the MS, CCC/Telemetry and ICU service lines through the provisions of effective methods and strategies. The OM will be responsible for assisting with budget management, payroll, quality reporting and trending, staffing, and process improvement using Lean methodology.

The OM will report to the Director Business Operations for Patient Care Serices and work as a member of the management team with a primary responsibility for oversight of the daily administrative operations of the service line as well as the development and implementation of departmental strategies, policies and procedures. Required: Experience in healthcare administration/hospital operations. Demonstrated skills in management, leadership, and interpersonal relationships Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office Minimum of three years of leadership experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree preferred
