You’ll need
Certifications
✓Comprehends written and oral communication.
CNAI or II, preferred.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED, required.
✓Must demonstrate a satisfactory performance level during the training program.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of two years as an OR Assistant, required.
✓Additional Skills (required) : Has the ability to interpret information to identify patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her specific needs.
✓Has the knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s)’ age.
About the role
The Lead OR Assistant delivers the most remarkable patient experience, in every dimension, every time, and understand how he or she contributes to the health system’s vision of achieving that commitment to patients and families. The Lead OR Assistant is responsible for assisting with unit and patient needs from the neonate to geriatric under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
