ResponsibilitiesThe paramedic in the ED works under the direction of the Attending, Medical Director, and/or RN, and is responsible for the care of the patient population served providing advanced critical pre-hospital and intra-facility emergency medical care and transportation. This includes, but is not limited to, a secondary assessment of the nature and extent of the illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to follow.
QualificationsRequired:Two years EMTKentucky or Indiana EMT-Paramedic (State) license at time of hireMust obtain additional EMT-Paramedic (State) license, KY or IN, within six months of hireDesired:1 year ParamedicDiplomaAssociate Degree
