Job OverviewFairview Range is looking for a Patient Access Coordinator to join our care team at the Fairview Range Clinic in Mountain Iron, MN. The Patient Access Coordinator is responsible for performing registration and scheduling duties along with necessary clerical or secretarial duties. The successful candidate will be capable of performing multiple tasks at the same time and will demonstrate excellent customer service skills at all times.

This position is full time working 72-80 hours per two weeks, 8-hour Day/Evening shifts and weekends as needed. This position will be primarily based in Mountain Iron but may provide coverage in Nashwauk and Hibbing as needed. Iron, and Nashwauk. Specialty care includes over 35 providers and more than 40 support staff that see patients in Hibbing and Mt. Iron.

Specialty departments include surgical services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, allergy, wound care, podiatry, and more. Patient Access Coordinator

Greeting patients in a prompt and pleasant manner and directs them to the appropriate locations. Understanding HIPAA and recognizes the importance of PHI. Answering the phone in a courteous, efficient manner within an established timeframe.

Collecting and verifies all patient data from patients and enter into the EMR accurately. Answering questions presented by patients regarding their accounts, insurance questions, etc. Processing disability, accident, etc. forms.

Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentVerifiable work experience with computers, typing, and telephone duties.
