Full Time; Monday–Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30/5:00 PM Join our team at the Robert Young Center as a Patient Access Representative! This role is responsible for patient registration, admissions, insurance verification, and scheduling while ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. You’ll support patients by answering questions, assisting with daily patient flow, and completing administrative tasks while maintaining compliance with financial and insurance procedures.
This position will be based at our new RYC Clinton office. The office will support a variety of clinical professionals, including therapists, psychiatric prescribers, substance use specialists, and care coordinators. The Patient Access Representative will work independently at this location and will help manage daily office operations, including patient registration, patient workflow, and opening and closing the office.

Responsibilities Accurately and thoroughly collects, analyzes and records demographic, insurance/financial and clinical data in computer system .
Ensures information source is appropriate and all required documentation are on file Maintains knowledge and understanding of insurance verification and understanding of insurance plans Answers telephone calls promptly and accurately. Takes telephone messages and directs calls in an appropriate and professional manner Communicates effectively to provide appropriate education regarding patient financial obligations through POS and estimates.
Participates in performance improvement initiatives and demonstrates initiative to improve quality and customer services with a goal to exceed customer expectations. Maintain ability to perform roles associated with patient self service registration processes Monitors and maintains multiple work queues Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Two (2) years of customer service OR healthcare related experience preferred.
