✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Connecticut required, National Registry preferred.
✓National Registered EMT-P licensed in state.
Certifications
✓Hold and maintain certification in the critical care transport field
✓Current certifications in BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS (or PHTLS equivalent) must be current or renewed within six months of hire.
FP-C, CCP-P or C-NPT preferred Specialty certification is expected within 12 months of hire.
Qualifications
✓Must be in compliance with State Continuing Education requirements as outlined by Connecticut code and DHR regulations for Paramedics. - Pediatric experience preferred - Competencies, as defined by the department, must be completed within six months of hire
✓3 or more currently active years of experience as field Paramedic / Critical Care Paramedic or Flight Paramedic with a recognized EMS pre hospital or Specialty Care Transport Provider.
