Pharmacy Technician SupervisorFull-Time | Monday–Friday Take the next step in your pharmacy career with a leadership opportunity that offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule. As a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, you will provide day-to-day leadership and support to the pharmacy technician team while helping ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations. Working under the direction of the Manager, Central Operations, you will coordinate daily workflow, support staff development, and serve as a resource for pharmacy technicians.
Supervise and coordinate the daily workflow of pharmacy technicians. Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to the technician team. Coordinate assignments and help maintain appropriate staffing and workflow coverage.
Assist with the orientation, onboarding, and training of new employees. Promote teamwork, accountability, and effective communication across the department. Identify opportunities to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy leadership, and other team members to support high-quality patient care. Perform pharmacy technician duties as needed to support department operations. GED or High School Diploma Must also have one of the following: 1. At least 12 months of pharmacy technician experience. 2. Currently enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy program. 3.
Successfully completed a minimum of 24 semester hours of college level courses. 4. Successfully completed an ASHP-accredited technician training program. 5. Successfully completed the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
Necessary
Good mathematical skills. Customer service and communication skills. Ability to perform detailed tasks with accuracy.
Good organizational skills. Good leadership and teaching skills. Required Licensure/Certifications: - Registered Pharmacy Intern in Florida or - Registered Pharmacy Technician in Florida.
Required
1-2 years - See 'Required Education' section above. Preferred
One-year supervisory experience.
