Phlebotomy certification preferred
Education
✓High School Diploma/GED
Qualifications
✓Ability to collect adult and pediatric patients in hospital, outpatient, or long-term care facility
✓Reasoning ability and good independent judgement.
✓Strong interpersonal, computer and communication skills.
✓Ability to collect blood samples from both adult and pediatric patients using venipuncture and capillary collections in various clinical settings.
✓Willingness to work different shifts, weekends and/or holidays.
✓Ability to work under stress and contribute to the team environment
✓Required Years of Experience (preferred)
Training in a phlebotomy program preferred

The Phlebotomy Specialist II is responsible for collecting patient specimens using proper protocols for patient identification, vein and tube selection, labeling in an outpatient setting.
