We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Marble Falls, TX. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment. Our full-time schedules are designed so clinicians are off more days than they work. You’ll be supported by experienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership who provide real-time guidance and mentorship. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low-acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care settingManage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visitsOrder and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imagingPerform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management, as applicableClearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructionsDocument patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHRCode and bill services appropriatelyMaintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarksPractice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantNP: ANCC or AANP certification required; FNP requiredPA: NCCPA certification requiredActive DEA license or ability to obtainAbility to treat patients of all agesActive BLS certificationEHR proficiencyWillingness to work occasional weekends and holidaysDOT certification required or willingness to obtain
