You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current PA Physician Assistant License
✓PA-C or board eligible.
✓Drug Enforcement Agency Licensure within 60 days of hire
✓MSN from the practicing State Board of Nursing Approved Master's Program
✓National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), National Certification Corporation (NCC), or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB)
✓Practicing-state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
Certifications
✓CPR - American Heart Association
✓Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
✓Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
✓Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
✓ACLS certification
Education
✓Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
✓or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
✓Four to ten years related experience and/or training
✓Ongoing successful recertification (NCCPA) as a PA-C within 90 days of hire
✓Prescriptive Authority from the practicing state Within 60 days of hire
