Maimonides is an affiliate of Northwell Health and a major clinical training site for SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. OverviewWe are currently recruiting for an open attending faculty position in Hematology/Oncology at the Maimonides Cancer Center.

We have particular needs in the areas of hematology (benign and malignant), gynecologic and genitourinary oncology, as well as sarcoma. We currently have an active practice group of 9 full time faculty, all of whom subspecialize in 2-3 disease sites. Call and consult weeks are shared among all of the faculty.

Our Cancer Center comprises a 30-chair infusion unit, pediatric oncology and state-of-the-art radiation oncology all at the same location. Our fellowship program, consisting of 3 fellows per year, provides ample opportunities for teaching, and we have an experienced research team available for clinical trials support. We have multidisciplinary tumor boards in all areas of oncology with participation of surgeons, pathologists and radiologists.
