PRN, requires open availability for all shifts as needed. Maintains and manages all incoming communications by answering calls professionally, forwarding them appropriately, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff. Coordinates after-hours operations by contacting key personnel as needed and maintaining accurate on-call schedules and staff contact information.
Monitors, responds to, and communicates hospital emergency codes, disaster alerts, and alarm systems in accordance with established procedures. Executes overhead announcements accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of proficiency to support hospital operations and safety. Maintains detailed operational call logs and communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure timely resolution of requests and issues.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Basic understanding of numerous computer systems. RequiredMust be proficient in the English language. RequiredAbility to communicate effectively.
