Registered Nurse (RN) NICUBring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + TogetherWork location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway, Frisco, Texas, 75033Work hours: Full Time, 30 Hours; 7:00pm – 7:00amNICU Department highlights:· Beautiful new hospital located in Frisco· Strong team culture· Couplet Care Model· Average 120 births per monthHere’s What You Need· Diploma in Nursing required or· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required or· BSN preferred· One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.· Two years of NICU experience strongly preferred· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent care and maintained quarterly required and· NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days required and· NRPA – Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days required and· CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required and maintained annuallyWhat You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process· Assesses the patient· Plans the care of the patient· Intervenes as appropriate· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
