Registered Nurse Operating Room

Full-time (40 hours) four 10 hour shifts, M-F, 6:30A-5:00P, day shift! Self scheduling on a 6 week time tract. Day off each week will vary.

Some call requirements per time tract, this will be discussed further during an interview. Department: Operating Room (OR)Location: Medical Park Hospital- 1950 South Hawthorne Road, Winston- Salem, North CarolinaUnit Info: 11 Operating Rooms. Cases at this facility consists of cysto/urology, general, GYN, robotic, plastics, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, oral & vascular cases.

This person will be circulating & scrubbing.

At least 1 year of recent OR experience required.

Prepare operating rooms by ensuring availability and functionality of surgical instruments, supplies, implants, medications, and equipment. Assist with room setup and maintain sterile fields according to established surgical and infection control standards. Function in scrub and/or circulator roles during surgical proceduresAnticipate surgeon, anesthesia provider, and surgical team needs throughout procedures.

What We're Looking ForEducation: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.

In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course, preferred.

One year relevant experience, preferred.
